Special Ingredients to the 6 + 1 Traits of Writing

Likewise, in writing there are six plus one (6+1) wonderful ingredients that children can use to help them produce quality writing. These ingredients are ideas, organization, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, conventions and presentation. Before learning the 6+1 traits of writing, I never paid great attention to it.   The Stages of Writing Development (https://clipartspub.com/transparent-clipart-bcjfjj) As children grow and develop, they go through different stages of writing. It has never crossed my mind that children go through different stages of writing. When class initially started on the stages of writing, I was able to relate to the Emergent and Early Writers because I have taught at the kindergarten level so I had some experience with some of the characteristics displayed by these types of writers. I was amazed to learn and understand what each stage was explaining. I can now proudly say that I fully understand each stage.  I learnt a lot of vital information about children writing development from the different stages.
